Do you really think your generic anonymous review will get people to go to this place? Let me guess, you work for Oceana or Luminar? And I bet you just ctrl d and ctrl v'd the same review for all the other luminar venues? Now if you gave this place 5 stars it would be too obvious. What a clever bunny you are.

The trouble with these kinda places is that they promise the best "experience" with fancy carpets and over-the-top bells and whistles, but when you puke on a carpet, the smell will never go away. Imagine paying over £5 to be greeted with the stink of someones stomach fluids.

I personally couldnt give a monkeys about carpeted floors and chandeliers. What matters to me is friendly easy-going staff, atmosphere and good music. Ocean Leeds have none of the above. Oceana's music policy is like painting by numbers, they might aswell just hook up their impressive sound system to galaxy radio and sack the dj. Where's the variety?

I didnt mention drinks prices as they seem to think this is the issue and if they drop them (dramatically) they will come. For those who know Leeds, Nobody on Call Lane has to change their pricing structures, yet they fill up nicely over the weekends. It's all about atmosphere and the smaller venues in Leeds dont have a problem with this. Luminar made the big mistake investing in high capacity venues which lets face it, need lots and lots of peeps to create this atmosphere.

This place was great many years ago when alcopops were the new thing and girls were drinking them. Now it's a giant dinosaur trapped in a time warp about to be made extinct.
