Saffron Desi

Got takeaway from here and it turned up freezing cold an hour and a half after we ordered it. We've just moved in and had no facilities to reheat it, hence ordering a takeaway. Asked for a replacement and they said that would be over in 15-20 mins. They rang back 30 mins later and said we weren't in there delivery radius even though they had already delivered a cold takeaway. Said they would drop us off a refund later on tonight/tomorrow after much debate but I don't expect to see a penny back. Have ordered a takeaway from else where and hoping it turns up within the next hour!

Arrived early Sunday evening and the 3 of us had a great meal. They have a wide choice on the menu and quite a few unusual dishes. They didn't seem to have any non Indian dishes which could be a problem for those people who are not curry fans but are tagging along. The Tandoori Mixed Grill is brilliant, a generous portion of food which comes with rice and a Veg curry side dish. (However this tasted artificial and was a bit disappointing). I thought the bill was pretty reasonable considering the quality of the food.

I noticed when I got home we had been charged for the mint sauce/raita which came with the starters, most places do not charge for this, so I would be mindful when going here in future.

One of the best Indian cuisine i have ever been to in my life perhaps the most excellent and most anticipated restaurant. This restaurant offers an amazing value for money and food is out of this world ,you have to try some ....the staff are amazing people .when your eating and you look up to find them theree already ther saying yes what can i get you (amazing!) So a Massive 10/10 for me absolutely fantastic! Hope you Come

Ive eaten here twice now and also had 2 takeaways and can confirm that the food is fantastic - however it is the service that makes this restaurant outstanding. I unreservedly recommend Saffron Desi as an eatery of exceptional value, quality and it offers a fabulous all-round dining experience.

My husband and I absolutely loved this restaurant. We were certainly happy with the food and the customer service is outstanding! We have also been to the restaurant in York and that was a very similar experience too - we would definately go again

We went to this restaurant last Friday and I must say its the best indian restaurant ive been to in a long time. Ive visited the other Saffron Desi in Bradford but this was miles better. Its beutiful interior and well spoken and proffesional staff create a heavenly ambience next to none. Excellent food and service, its must visit before you die restaurant. Before I finish id like to say a special thank you to the manager Karl. Keep it up guys. 5 star??Mr James Smith
