I have never met a person as rude as the man in Mio Modo, whom I presume is the manager.
I got attitude for wanting a knife rather than a spoon for my lasagne, which was weird. When we came to pay however, we were informed that the credit card machine wasn't working. I said I'd have liked to know this before I sat down so I could have done something about it. Apparently "he doesn't have to provide a card facility, you know".
I've never been treated this way in a restaurant before. It was a full-on argument by the time we left. His personal comment about my anatomy in front of other customers was definitely out of line for a person in the service industry. As a customer, I am very upset, as I had been coming here for years. Needless to say I shan't visit again.
