Badwelder
We went to Korks on a Friday night we had booked for our party of 9 we had a drink in the bar the place seemed nice enough, but alas it all went down hill once we sat down to eat,we gave our orders for starters and after a fair wait they arrived with one short this took ages to arrive the rest of us had long finished ours,I my self had a sweetcorn soup starter which I thought would be just right for a non meat eater when it arrived it had bits of bacon on the top so I had to do a swap with my wife the mains seemed to take ages to arrive,by this time the place was getting busy too busy for my own liking there seemed to be too many people in the room, we all got our main meals and then we were given 3 bowls of veg. the broccoli was all but raw as were the sugar snap peas the carrots were nicely cooked and soft, one of us ordered another drink which never arrived, she went to the bar to get it herself,my mum in law got chicken which she could not chew,it looked like a small piece of breast that I would guess had once been frozen she passed this on to my daughter and she had all on cutting through it I had salmon which was nice although a small portion,a couple of bowls of roast potatoes would not have gone amiss, the sweets we had were average.3 coffees were ordered they never arrived and we had to ask for them,by this time the place was pretty much full and the noise from other people was really bad as the place was crammed. We all ate from the early bird menu around £16 for 3 courses, not exspensive I admit but never again, sorry.
