White Rose

i was very dissapointed with all aspects of my visit. the service on the most part was hurried and when asking the bar person details about items on the menu- there was a beef and 'london' pie, asked what was in it- bar person didnt know and wouldnt find out. After ordering our meals we waited thirty minutes for the first to come and the rest followed at five minute intervals, we found the prices steep but assumed (wrongly) that the food would be of a substantial amount and good quality, sadly the nearly £10 fish and chips was badly made, the fish being broken in half to be cooked (it wasnt that big) and the (handful of) chips were burnt. the lasagne arrived without the garlic bread (this arrived fifteen minutes after the meal) and looked like it had been pre-eaten and regurgitated onto the plate, when the 'waitress arrived we sent that meal back and asked for a refund, twenty minutes later still the waitress hadnt returned we had to ask the barman to follow this up, only for the waitress to come over and drop the money on the table. its fair to say i wont return here as i found the whole experience very unpleasant, i work in hospitality and would be disgusted to find this happening in my establishment. i would not reccomend this place to anyone.

Total rip off £4.75 for a small glass of rose wine Don't go here

Tend to pop in here on a Friday on my way home from work with a collegue. Beer is always crisp and fresh and the food is good value for money!
